The Loneliness of Evangelism

An "evangelist", by pure definition, is someone who "spreads good news." In a world where too many people are negative/selfish/angry-we need more evangelists-those brave souls amongst us who stand for something higher (like leading without title/showing up at brilliant at work and in life and being compassionate). And yes, it's not the easiest thing to do. Being a dreamer and an idealist can be a lonely job. Because so few do it. But we need more dreamers and idealists. To lead us to a better place. The world’s like a flower
Either fallen or grown
The leaves cover secrets
And the pedals are shown

Pull me close and hold me near;
take away my pain and fear.

He was wide awake all night..........

“Slow down, relax!

Do you want to die young?”

I rush and dance round

panicked and usually late.

Waddle, waddle, waddle…

Hmmmm…..

It occurred to me that

the ambling duck seemed a lot

like a kid on Spring Break…

He eats when he wants,

swims until dark,

and sleeps as he’s

warmed by the sun.

So I’ve made a vow

to live more like that duck…

To halt all the madness,

The names of types and kinds of wine
That rattle around my tiny mind.
And actually, I'm rather keen
To find out what they really mean.

All you need to build are castles in the sky, You can build rooms and add a tower too...

Love is unpredictable Love is uncontainable
Love is reliable Love is infallible
Love is right Love is wrong

I love chocolate
Oh yes I do
If you buy me chocolate
I'll say I love you..........

Roots and leaves themselves alone are these;
Scents brought from the wild woods, and from the pond-side....

On the Misty River

Such a feeling coming over me,there is a wonder in most everything I see, Not a cloud in the sky-got the sun in my eye, and I won't be surprised if its a dream-Carpenters
